What is our aim
In the pages of this wiki we hope to share what we know about Web 2.0 technologies and how they might be used in the primary classroom.
So far we have created pages on
Blogs Wikis Google Sketchup Podcasting Google Docs del icio us and SRF and ICT Mark
For an exceptional list of education examples of Web 2.0 in action go to Richard Knights List
In Keith's blog he has tagged postings for Web 2.0. Have a look at Keiths ICT Teacher Blog
It is vital to consider E-safety before using any web tools. Agree policy and procedure with staff and children before they start creating and communicating. For links to supportive websites see the following article in Primary Nuggets blog and several postings on Internet Safety on Keiths ICT Teacher Blog. For suggestions on how a school should proceed with addressing E-safety, follow the link from the front page of Bristol Primary ICT
To find out more about e-safety, SWGfL hosted four conferences in the Autumn '07 term to support schools. This is likely to be repeated annually. - go to www.swgfl.org.uk for more info. The materials from the workshop seminars are available at the SWGfL E-safety website
